Hau Giang approves investor for new urban area project with capital of 4,356 billion VND
The project has a land use area of about 96.79 hectares, with a population of about 18,500 people.
On November 8, Vice Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Hoa signed and issued the Decision approving Investment policy and investor approval for Dat Xanh Group Joint Stock Company (headquartered in Ward 25, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) to implement the Mai Dam New Urban Area project, Mai Dam town, Chau Thanh district.
The project has Land use area is about 96.79 ha. Of which, land in the expansion area of Nam Song Hau route (National Highway 91C) is 3.53 ha, land in Mai Dam New Urban Area is 93.26 ha. Population size is about 18,500 people.

The preliminary structure of housing products includes investment in completing the exterior and rough construction of the interior of 831 commercial shophouses on the routes of Nam Song Hau, Provincial Road 927C, Road No. 01, Road N7; total construction land area is about 96,205 m2; height and construction density according to the approved detailed planning.
Regarding infrastructure within the project, the investor is responsible for synchronously investing in works according to the approved detailed planning, including the following items: Complete investment in technical infrastructure works (with a land area of approximately 96.79 hectares). After completing the construction investment, the investor will hand it over to the state according to regulations.
With medical construction land with an area of 5,165 m2; cultural house construction land with an area of 2,619 m2;educational construction land with a total area of 47,042 m2: After completing the investment and construction, the investor has the right to exploit, do business or hand it over to the state according to regulations.
With commercial service land of area 12,251 m2: After completing the construction investment, the investor has the right to exploit and do business according to regulations.
For the land plots planned to be resettled for households that must be relocated to serve the project's site clearance with an area of about 27,087 m2 (about 356 plots, the number of resettlement plots will be adjusted accordingly to the approved compensation, support and resettlement plan): After synchronously investing in technical infrastructure works, the investor will hand over to the state to arrange resettlement for households affected by the project according to regulations.
The total preliminary investment of the project is about 4,356 billion VND. Of which, the project implementation cost is 3,180 billion VND; compensation, support and resettlement costs are 780 billion VND; contingency costs are 396 billion VND.
The project duration is 50 years from the date the investor is decided to allocate land, decide to lease land.
According to the People's Committee of Hau Giang province, the investment goal of the Mai Dam New Urban Area project is to reorganize the living conditions of residents in the planning area, improve living conditions, create a better, more reasonable living environment, in harmony with the surrounding architectural space and landscape, in line with the general development of Mai Dam urban area, contributing to improving the quality of people's lives towards the goal of building a modern urban area of regional stature, with good quality of life, civilized and modern.
