Long Xuyen Ward People's Council held its first session

On the evening of July 1, the People's Council of Long Xuyen Ward, Term I (2021-2026), held its first session. Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Long Xuyen Ward Huynh Quoc Thai chaired the session. Attending the session were Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Long Xuyen Ward Vo Thi Xuan Kieu and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Long Xuyen Ward Doan Thi Huong Ha.

At this session, the People's Council of the ward, term I, 2021 - 2026, announced the number of People's Council delegates after the arrangement and announced the Resolutions of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council on appointing personnel to hold the positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman of the committees of the People's Council of the ward, Chairman, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the ward.

Passed important resolutions of the session, including: Resolution on appointing members of the Long Xuyen Ward People's Committee; Resolution on approving the number and list of full-time Deputy Heads and members who are part-time People's Council delegates of the Economic - Budget Committee, the Cultural - Social Committee of the Ward People's Council, term I (term 2021 - 2026); Resolution on establishing the Long Xuyen Ward People's Council Committee, term I (term 2021 - 2026); Resolution on establishing specialized departments and administrative organizations under the Long Xuyen Ward People's Committee; Resolution on deploying socio -economic development tasks for the last 6 months of 2025 and Resolution on organizing regular meetings in 2025.

In his closing speech at the meeting, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Long Xuyen Ward Huynh Quoc Thai emphasized that the People's Council of the ward acknowledged the opinions of the People's Council delegates and gave a passionate and responsible explanation, demonstrating the high determination of the Chairman of the People's Committee of the ward when accepting the important responsibilities and tasks assigned by the province, voters and people of Long Xuyen Ward. The People's Council of Long Xuyen Ward believes that the comrades appointed by the province and trusted by the People's Council of the ward to hold important positions will unite, promote the highest sense of responsibility and capacity, regularly practice moral qualities, be exemplary in life and be close to the grassroots, listen to the opinions of all classes of people; be flexible, sharp, creative on the basis of ensuring principles in direction and administration, excellently completing the assigned responsibilities and tasks, worthy of the trust of the People's Council delegates, voters and people of Long Xuyen Ward and the expectations of the province.
