(BLC) - In recent years, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" in the province has left a strong mark, becoming an important driving force to promote socio -economic development, improve people's quality of life, while preserving and promoting the traditional cultural identity of ethnic groups.
The National Great Unity Day has just ended, but the echoes of the spirit of solidarity and warm affection still spread strongly throughout the villages and residential areas in the province. Cultural and sports exchange activities and community meals not only strengthen the relationship between villagers and neighbors but also add spiritual strength for each person to unite to build a new cultural life.
Recently, we had the opportunity to attend the National Great Unity Festival in Tham village (Ban Hon commune, Tam Duong district), we were able to immerse ourselves in the joyful atmosphere of the Festival. This is not only an opportunity for all people to participate in community-based activities, but also to promote the people's right to be the masters in giving opinions and building increasingly developed residential areas, contributing to the successful implementation of local tasks.

Thereby, not only contributing to improving the quality of life of the people but also being an important foundation for the sustainable development of the village. This is a clear demonstration of the strength of solidarity and consensus of the community in building an increasingly better life.
Lai Chau is a mountainous, border province located in the Northwest of the country, with an important strategic position in politics, socio-economics, security, national defense, foreign affairs and ecological environment protection. The province has 20 ethnic groups living together, of which the Si La, Mang, and Cong ethnic groups are only found in Lai Chau with many customs and practices, making the culture of the province richer, more diverse and rich in national identity.
Tug of war is not only a traditional sport of ethnic groups but also a symbol of solidarity and team spirit chosen by the people of Tham village to participate in the National Great Unity Day.
Clearly identifying the position and role of culture as both a driving force and a development goal in political and social life, Lai Chau province pays great attention to developing cultural activities. In order for the movement to increasingly penetrate into the social life of the entire population, all levels and sectors in the province are active and proactive in coordinating, advising, propagating and implementing activities of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" in the whole province. With the attention, leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels, the coordination and facilitation of authorities at all levels, the active participation of member organizations and the masses, the National Great Unity Day in residential areas in the province has increasingly met the requirements of building a great national unity bloc in the new situation. The movement does not only stop at the cultural field, but also promotes the economic development of the people. Household economic models and agricultural production cooperatives associated with cultural preservation have been widely deployed. Many residential areas have applied science and technology to production, improving productivity and product quality.
