Typically, World Vision Korea, through World Vision Vietnam, sponsored the Ngo Quyen District Development Zone Program Phase 1 (2012 - 2017) with a total aid value of 2,270,000 USD, and the Ngo Quyen District Development Zone Program Phase 2 (2017 - 2022) with an aid of 1,210,000 USD.
LS Group donated 250,000 USD to support families severely affected by Typhoon Yagi (2024) in Hai Phong and Quang Ninh - where the group's subsidiaries have production and business locations. Also participating in the emergency aid program are 3 subsidiaries of LS Group in Vietnam: CP LS VINA Korea, LS Electric Korea Co., Ltd., LS Metal VINA Co., Ltd.

In the coming time, Hai Phong aims to attract more high-tech, environmentally friendly projects linked to the global value chain of Korean enterprises.
At the discussion with the topic “Opportunities and challenges for Vietnamese and Korean enterprises in Hai Phong city”, Mr. Seok Myung Guk, Chairman of the Korean Business Association in Hai Phong (KOCHAM HP) affirmed that Hai Phong is a stable and attractive investment destination for many FDI enterprises, including Korean enterprises. This is demonstrated by the fact that many Korean enterprises, after a period of effective investment in Hai Phong, continue to connect with other Korean enterprises to learn and invest. Ensuring labor resources should be considered a top priority by Hai Phong to help FDI enterprises operate more stably and sustainably.
At this discussion, comrade Le Anh Quan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee affirmed: Hai Phong highly values the business community in general, and Korean enterprises in particular, which have actively accompanied and made positive contributions to the city's development process in recent times.
