(NADS) - Phu Quoc is entering the year-end tourist season, promising to be an opportunity for the tourism industry of the Pearl Island to flourish. Recently, on social networks, images of entrances and exits to resorts being filled with rocks and soil, and blocked by mechanical vehicles, causing difficulties for tourists as well as tarnishing the image of local tourism have appeared.

The number of tourists visiting and relaxing at Phu Quoc Island ( Kien Giang Province) is decreasing. According to local leaders, the reasons are unfavorable weather, high airfares, many tourists tend to travel nearby,...

However, one of the less mentioned reasons is that the security situation on the Pearl Island has recently improved but is still a headache. For example, in recent days, on social networks, images of entrances to resorts being blocked by rocks and soil, and mechanical vehicles have continuously appeared.

It is known that the resorts have reported to the authorities of Phu Quoc City so that the government can soon have solutions to intervene, adjust, ensure security and order, protect the safety of tourists as well as preserve the image of Phu Quoc tourism in the eyes of domestic and foreign tourists.
