AI on Stage – Governance with Technology
If in most corporate events, technology only stops at videos or presentation slides, then at BSR HNKH 2025, technology has a stronger presence: the 3D AI version of General Director Nguyen Viet Thang directly takes on the role of speaker, conveying messages, achievements, strategies and visions to customers and partners. From a management perspective, bringing AI to the conference stage shows that BSR is proactively integrating technology from daily tasks to production, business and product distribution activities.
Sharing at the conference, BSR General Director Nguyen Viet Thang emphasized: “In just the past 5 years, technology has made great strides, AI has become the focus of innovation for all businesses. I believe that not only BSR but also our customers and partners today will quickly join this flow, together towards a better future.”
The AI image of the General Director is not only a 3D technology effect but also a management message: start with small things, accurately measure efficiency, then expand to big things. AI becomes a support tool, while humans still play the central role - "gatekeeper" to make the final decision. This is how BSR trains its operational capacity, masters technology for long-term development strategy, towards the goal of becoming the Vietnam Oil and Gas Refining Corporation.

On September 29, 2025, in his speech on science and technology development, General Secretary To Lam emphasized: “Science and technology, innovation and digital transformation are not just choices, but the vital path for rapid and sustainable development. This is the golden key to realizing the aspiration of a strong and prosperous Vietnam by 2045.”
As an enterprise ensuring national energy security, BSR has seriously and strongly deployed science and technology, innovation combined with the application of technology and AI in many activities. Initial experiments in the fields of communication, event organization, meetings, etc. are creating a foundation for expansion to key production and business stages.
A solid foundation for the future
According to the "AI CEO" shared at HNKH, since Dung Quat Oil Refinery came into operation, BSR has produced more than 102.7 million tons of cumulative products, achieved revenue of 1.8 million billion VND, paid the budget 240 trillion VND and accumulated profit after tax of more than 53 trillion VND. In the first 9 months of 2025 alone, BSR recorded more than 5 million tons of products, revenue of over 105 trillion VND, paid the budget nearly 10.7 trillion VND, completing the management plan targets.
BSR currently meets more than 30% of domestic civil energy demand, 100% of defense-specific fuel, and always maintains a stable supply even when the global energy market fluctuates. At the same time, the BSR brand is valued at more than 200 million USD, shares traded on HOSE, credit rating BB+ with stable outlook - proof of management discipline and sustainable finance.
Towards a green and sustainable energy strategy
Technological innovation and green energy development are strategic priorities of the country and also the guiding principles of BSR. Not only operating the factory safely and stably, BSR also focuses resources on implementing the Dung Quat Refinery Expansion and Upgrade Project, optimizing products, while promoting the application of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation to improve efficiency, develop sustainably, and aim to become the Vietnam Oil and Gas Refining and Petrochemical Corporation in the future.
