Cooperation in developing and consuming agricultural products for people in Tay Giang district (Quang Nam) will not only enhance the culinary experience of hotels and restaurants but also contribute to building sustainable community values.
Recently, at the People's Committee of Tr'hy commune, Tay Giang district (Quang Nam), the signing ceremony of the 'Program to support the development and consumption of agricultural products between Bac My An Tourist Area Joint Stock Company, Da Nang Hotel Association, Da Nang Culinary Culture Association and the Farmers' Association of Tr'hy commune, Tay Giang district' took place, on the consumption of agricultural products and crops of local people, ensuring output, aiming at the goal of sustainable tourism development, associated with community building activities in the mountainous district of Tay Giang.

According to Mr. Tran Van Ta, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tay Giang district, Tr'hy commune has an abundant labor force, a temperate climate and a large cultivated area. However, local people still lack agricultural knowledge and techniques. We hope that with the efforts of all parties, as well as the support of large food suppliers, there will be a clear improvement in agricultural production and post-harvest preservation of agricultural products of the people, in order to build a clean, stable agricultural source, comply with food safety regulations, and develop agriculture in Tr'hy commune in particular and Tay Giang district in general in a sustainable manner.
In fact, green and sustainable tourism is a global trend. In Da Nang City, with more than 1,300 hotels from 2 to 5 stars, there are still many potential factors to develop in this direction. One of them is to develop a stable and clean supply of agricultural products locally, to help hotels and restaurants shorten the time to import goods from other sources of raw materials, and to be proactive in creating local cuisine suitable for serving tourists.
Cuisine must be closely linked to the cultural story, ingredients, and flavors of each locality. Therefore, according to Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh, Vice President of the Da Nang Tourism Association and President of the Da Nang Hotel Association, cooperation in developing and consuming agricultural products for local people will not only enhance the culinary experience of hotels and restaurants but also contribute to building sustainable community values.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh added that, regarding the support for the development and consumption of agricultural products for Tay Giang, today's memorandum of understanding is not only a commitment to output for local agricultural products, but also promises to create a premise and foundation for sustainable agricultural tourism development. We will accompany through many promotional activities such as sharing agricultural knowledge, building an area to display agricultural products of Tr'hy commune in particular and Tay Giang in general to introduce to domestic and international tourists, supporting training in communication knowledge, marketing, digital business for the local workforce, ... as well as connecting with food suppliers and producers to develop agricultural production plans right in the locality.
