Meanwhile, because there were 2 examination sites on the same road, some candidates went to the wrong location. At the examination site of Vo Truong Toan Secondary School (District 1), 2 candidates taking the exam at Trung Vuong High School went to the wrong location.

Ms. Le Tuong Quyen, Head of the Vo Truong Toan Secondary School Examination Site, said that on exam days, this examination site will assign security guards and staff to stand in front of the school to pay attention and remind candidates, in case any student goes to the wrong place and wastes time. The Vo Truong Toan Secondary School Examination Site has 552 candidates from Vo Truong Toan, Tran Van On, Huynh Khuong Ninh, and Van Lang Secondary Schools with 23 examination rooms and 3 backup examination rooms.

According to Ms. Le Tuong Quyen, this year, secondary schools have reminded students very carefully about the items that are allowed and not allowed to bring to the exam site. "Although each exam site has a room to keep candidates' belongings, on the first day of the exam regulations, the invigilators also reminded candidates to bring necessary items and limit bringing expensive items to avoid losing property" - Ms. Quyen informed.

Care about student health

On the day of exam procedures, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Anh Duc and leaders of several departments and branches also inspected the preparations for the 10th grade exam at the two furthest exam sites in the city located in Can Gio district. According to Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Departmentof Education and Training Le Hoai Nam, Can Gio district has 1,077 students taking the junior high school graduation exam. Of which, the number of candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam is 969 students with 968 wishes for regular 10th grade and 1 wish for specialized 10th grade. In particular, 1 student from Tam Thon Hiep Secondary School taking the specialized exam will take the specialized exam at Trung Vuong High School.

Mr. Le Hoai Nam said that on June 2, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City inspected the facilities at 2 examination sites in Can Gio district. Both examination sites have fully prepared facilities, electricity, water, and machinery for the examination; meeting the number of rooms according to the initial planning... "Each examination site is assigned 2 security officers, of which 1 person is on duty 24/7 in the exam room and 1 person is on duty at the entrance gate; ensuring security and safety before, during, and after the exam" - Mr. Nam emphasized.

Through the actual inspection, Mr. Duong Anh Duc commented that all examination sites, departments, and examination councils strictly followed the regulations. He also reminded officials, teachers, and students to absolutely not be subjective during the exam. Create conditions for candidates with accidents to take the exam

Speaking to a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, said that the total number of candidates registered for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year is 96,334. Eight candidates who had an accident on their right hand asked the invigilator to write for them in all three subjects, and one deaf candidate was given a hearing aid.

According to Mr. Minh, according to the exam regulations, all of these candidates will take the exam in a separate room. The separate exam rooms are equipped with audio and video recording cameras for monitoring.
