Miss Bui Quynh Hoa quits school, Miss Universe Vietnam Organizing Committee speaks up to "apologize"

The news that Miss Bui Quynh Hoa was forced to drop out of the University of Theater and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City is still attracting the attention of the beauty-loving community. Recently, the Miss Universe Vietnam Organizing Committee officially spoke out about this incident.

Becoming a new student of the Film Directing Department of the University of Theater and Cinema, Ho Chi Minh City is a great source of pride for Bui Quynh Hoa on her path to pursuing art. However, after participating in the Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 contest and winning the highest prize, Bui Quynh Hoa became the representative of Vietnam to participate in the Miss Universe 2023 contest in El Salvador. This is also a great dream and passion of Bui Quynh Hoa, who has strived for many years. Bui Quynh Hoa really appreciates both the opportunity to study in the field she is passionate about and the opportunity to compete internationally.

Because the coronation and international competition are very close, to seriously prepare for this journey, Miss Bui Quynh Hoa contacted the school to ask for leave and expressed her wish to continue studying at the school after she completed the international competition.

Bui Quynh Hoa was born in 1998 in Hanoi. She is 1.75 m tall with measurements of 83-60-94 cm. Before becoming the owner of the Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 crown, Bui Quynh Hoa had impressive achievements in beauty and modeling contests such as: Miss Ao Dai Vietnam World 2017, Miss Sea Vietnam Global 2018, Supermodel Vietnam 2018 (won gold); Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 (entered the Top 10); Champion of Super Model International 2022...

Before leaving for the 72nd Miss Universe in El Salvador, Miss Bui Quynh Hoa was caught up in a scandal about "having used laughing gas when she was a high school student". The organizers of Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 said that the incident happened a long time ago, Bui Quynh Hoa was under 18 years old at that time, the beauty queen also regretted her actions, so the results of the contest were not changed: "At that time, Bui Quynh Hoa was a high school student and did not realize the harmful effects of laughing gas, so she tried using it once. After that, Bui Quynh Hoa never used laughing gas again. This was also a big lesson for Bui Quynh Hoa and she was very regretful because they affected her current life".
