At the event, Thu Huong burst into tears when mentioning her teacher - the late Professor, People's Teacher Le Quy Phuong, former Chairman of the Sports Science Association, former Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports.

He was the person who guided her scientific research and completed her doctoral thesis. He passed away in the summer of 2024 due to a stroke.
