Complete urban space development planning, speed up public investment progress

TTH.VN - On the afternoon of May 18, the 11th Provincial Party Committee Conference continued with Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong presenting a report on the general urban planning of Thua Thien Hue until 2045, with a vision to 2065.

On October 19, 2022, the Prime Minister approved the Master Plan for Thua Thien Hue Urban Area to 2045, with a vision to 2065 in Decision No. 1261/QD-TTg, as a basis for the province to organize the preparation, submit to the Ministry of Construction for appraisal, and submit to the Prime Minister for approval of the planning project.

Continuing the discussion, many delegates mentioned the issue of urban space development; traffic infrastructure; some criteria to meet the requirements when the province becomes a centrally-run city...

Based on the comments and suggestions at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong explained and clarified the issues that the delegates attending the conference were interested in. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu approved the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Committee Conference.

Closing the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Le Truong Luu affirmed that the key staff will continue to direct the implementation of the Provincial Party Committee's specialized resolutions; deploy the vote of confidence for key staff according to regulations; complete the urban space development planning; speed up the progress of public investment capital, and inspect projects in the area.

Focus on removing difficulties in projects; make more efforts in site clearance; mobilize resources to implement the set goals, targets and tasks; review fire prevention and fighting work; improve the quality of tourism products; direct the implementation of projects set out in the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels; continue to strengthen inspection and supervision work, not to let them linger, or to raise complaints beyond the level; proactively grasp the situation.

Promote the role, responsibilities and tasks of leaders in all fields, especially issues to soon turn the province into a centrally-run city according to Resolution 54 of the Politburo.
