With over 30 years dedicated to the teaching profession, and with her passion, constant effort, and high sense of responsibility, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Phuong, a teacher at Thuy Tay Primary School (Thanh Hoa district, Long An province), has become a shining example of learning from and following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, and is always loved and respected by her colleagues and students.

Graduating in 1994 with a passion for teaching and the enthusiasm of youth, Ms. Phuong was assigned to teach at Tuyen Binh Primary School (Vinh Hung district).

In 1997, she transferred to teach at Thuy Tay Primary School, where she has been ever since. Throughout her many years at this school, Ms. Phuong has always been actively innovative and creative in her teaching to instill enthusiasm and a thirst for learning in her students.

As the head of the subject department for grades 4 and 5, Ms. Phuong always pays close attention to and manages professional activities. With her experience and love for the profession, she regularly trains students' thinking skills and develops appropriate learning methods for each student.

In each lesson, she is always creative, flexible, and skillfully incorporates games, images, videos , and lively stories, helping students to be interested and understand the lesson in depth.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Phuong (Thuy Tay Primary School, Thanh Hoa District) is always dedicated and wholeheartedly committed to her students.

Ms. Phuong shared: "I not only teach the students the knowledge from textbooks but also equip them with communication and social skills, creating a lively competitive atmosphere so that they can absorb the lessons effectively."

In addition, I also focus on integrating lessons about President Ho Chi Minh's moral example into the lessons, helping students easily learn and follow his example in their daily lives." Ms. Phuong believes that to have excellent students, teachers must continuously learn and improve their knowledge.

Following the example of President Ho Chi Minh , Ms. Phuong not only lives a simple life and is close to her colleagues, but also serves as a shining example of integrity and self-learning. In her work of inspecting and evaluating quality, she always demonstrates honesty and fairness, ensuring objectivity and transparency.

Ms. Phuong shared: "As a Party member, I always strive to be a pioneer and role model, daring to think, daring to act, and daring to take responsibility before the collective; actively practicing thrift, constantly training and cultivating revolutionary moral qualities, and raising my sense of responsibility to meet the requirements of the education cause ."

Throughout my studies and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's example, I have always focused on implementing Central Resolution 4 (11th and 12th Congresses), thereby self-reflecting and adjusting myself, promptly overcoming shortcomings to continuously improve myself.

In addition, Ms. Phuong always reminds and encourages the teachers in the group to strictly adhere to professional regulations, be enthusiastic and take the lead in their work, and actively participate in emulation movements and campaigns launched by the school.

For many years, Ms. Phuong has been recognized as an outstanding grassroots emulation fighter and classified as a party member who has excellently fulfilled her duties, receiving commendations from various levels and sectors.

In the 2020-2021 academic year, she was awarded the title of "Outstanding Teacher" by the President of Vietnam ; in the 2022-2023 academic year, she received a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training for her outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Innovation and Creativity in Management, Teaching and Learning"; in 2023, she was commended by the District People's Committee for "Outstanding Performance" for five consecutive years (2019-2023).

In particular, in 2023, Ms. Phuong was awarded a Certificate of Commendation by the Prime Minister for her achievements in education and training from the 2018-2019 school year to the 2022-2023 school year, contributing to building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

In 2024, Ms. Phuong was awarded a Certificate of Commendation by the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa District for her achievements in "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh" during the period 2021-2024.
