On June 1, Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced its enrollment plan for 2023. For this year's enrollment, the average tuition fee for the standard program is about 23-29 million VND per year, depending on the major. Compared to last year, the tuition fee for the standard program at Hanoi University of Science and Technology increased by about 4-6 million VND per year.
Tuition fees for high-quality programs at Hanoi University of Science and Technology are about 33-42 million VND per year, with Data Science and Artificial Intelligence; Logistics and Supply Chain Management charging tuition fees of 57-58 million VND.
For international programs and international training partnerships, Hanoi University of Science and Technology charges tuition fees of 25-45 million VND per semester. For the Business Administration (TROY-BA) and Computer Science (TROY-IT) programs in cooperation with Troy University in the US, the tuition fee is 90 million VND per year, but there are three semesters per year.
In general, tuition fees for these two programs remain the same or do not fluctuate much compared to 2022. The school said that tuition fees may be adjusted each year but will not increase more than 8-10% per year.

In 2023, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will enroll 7,985 students. Of these, 15-20% will be for talent selection, 85-90% will be based on high school graduation exam scores and thinking assessment organized by the school.
For the English-taught program, in addition to the necessary conditions, candidates must have one of the following criteria: VSTEP English certificate at level B1 or higher, IELTS (Academic) from 5.0 or higher or equivalent; 2023 high school graduation exam score in English meets the school's requirements (to be announced later).
All majors/programs of Hanoi University of Science and Technology have quotas for admission based on graduation exam scores. The school applies the method of considering thinking scores to all majors, except for English Language.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology will organize 3 rounds of thinking assessment exams on June 10, June 17 and July 8 in 9 provinces and cities. As of the end of May, the total number of candidates registered for the exam was more than 10,200 (with more than 19,200 exams). In addition to Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the results of this exam are used for admission by 32 other schools.

Last year, the benchmark score for the high school graduation exam results of Hanoi University of Science and Technology ranged from 23.03 to 28.29 points. Computer Engineering had the highest admission score. The next two majors with the highest benchmark scores were Control Engineering - Automation with 27.61 points and Information Technology (Vietnam - Japan) with 27.25 points.
The industries with the lowest input - 23.03 include Chemical Engineering, Printing Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Natural Resources and Environment Management.
