Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee has just issued the 2024-2025 school year schedule for preschool education, general education and continuing education.
Accordingly, the first day of school for Quang Nam students is August 29; for first graders, it is August 22. The opening ceremony will be held on September 5.
Students will finish semester I before January 18, 2025; for grade 9, finish semester I before January 11, 2025. Complete the program and end the school year before May 31, 2025; for grade 9, finish the program before May 21, 2025 (There are 35 weeks of actual study, semester I has 18 weeks, semester II has 17 weeks).
Also according to the plan, the 2025 high school graduation exam is expected to take place on June 26 and 27, 2025.
The Director of the Department of Education and Training is responsible for presiding over and coordinating with heads of relevant departments and branches and Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to organize the implementation of this decision.
At the same time, advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to decide on school breaks and extensions of the school year in special cases. Decide to let students take time off in case of extreme weather, natural disasters and arrange make-up classes; ensure teachers' time off during the school year.
