Hoa Phat Group paid 7,100 billion VND in taxes after 6 months

(Chinhphu.vn) - In the first 6 months of 2025, Hoa Phat Group contributed 7,100 billion VND to the State budget in 20 provinces and cities across the country.

Hoa Phat Group and its member companies always fully and correctly fulfill their tax payment obligations during their operations.

Of which, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel and Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel are the two member companies that contribute the most, respectively 4,100 billion VND and 1,155 billion VND to the budgets of Quang Ngai province and Hai Phong city.

The member companies that pay the most to the budget include Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel, Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel, Hoa Phat Steel Pipe, Hoa Phat Refrigeration, Hoa Phat Hung Yen Steel, and Hoa Phat Construction & Urban Development.

Hoa Phat Dung Quat alone paid 4,100 billion VND in taxes.

The total amount of taxes and fees paid in the first 6 months of the year by Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Company, including import VAT, import-export tax, domestic tax, etc., reached 4,100 billion VND and was the company that contributed the most among the members of the Group in the first half of 2025.

With 1,155 billion VND, Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel ranked 2nd among Hoa Phat companies with the highest budget contribution in 6 months. Some member companies of the Group have large contributions to the State budget such as: Hoa Phat Steel Pipe, Hoa Phat Refrigeration, Hoa Phat Hung Yen Steel, Hoa Phat Construction & Urban Development.

A representative of Hoa Phat Group said: The Group and its member companies always fully and correctly fulfill their tax obligations during their operations. Hoa Phat has been honored and awarded Certificates of Merit by the General Department of Taxation and Tax Departments of provinces and cities many times as a typical unit that fulfills its tax obligations well.

From 2007 to present, from the time Hoa Phat was listed on the stock market to June 30, 2025, Hoa Phat has contributed 95,000 billion VND to the State Budget.

Creating jobs for more than 33,000 workers

This is a proud achievement for a heavy industrial manufacturing enterprise.

Hoa Phat is the largest steel producer in Southeast Asia. It is expected that in September 2025, the Group will complete phase 2 of the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Complex project. After completion, the Group's total steel output will reach a total of 16 million tons/year, including 9 million tons of hot-rolled coil steel, meeting 100% of the demand for this product in the Vietnamese market.
