On the afternoon of May 21, Mr. Mai Xuan Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Binh province (the unit in charge of organizing the Quang Binh Province Reading Culture Ambassador Contest) - said that the department is drafting a document to adjust the shortcomings in the contest rules and send it to schools in the province.

The main content of the adjustment revolves around clearly informing the organizers that students are not required to participate, especially students in lower grades of primary school.

However, the department cannot adjust the question because it is a question drafted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the national competition.

Also according to Mr. Thanh, after Tuoi Tre Online published an article reflecting on the shortcomings in organizing the contest, the Library Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism contacted the leaders of the Quang Binh Provincial Library to request that they send documents related to organizing the contest in this locality for consideration and appropriate adjustments.

Leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Binh were also assigned to coordinate with leaders of the Department of Education and Training to discuss and come up with the most suitable solution.

"Currently, some schools have submitted their exam papers to the Provincial Library. However, the deadline for submission is June 10 and many new schools are implementing the exam, so we are still making adjustments so that schools that have not submitted their papers can implement it in accordance with the non-compulsory policy," said Mr. Thanh.

As reported by Tuoi Tre Online , in recent days, many parents with children studying in primary school in Quang Binh were surprised when they received a notice from the school asking their children to participate in the province's Reading Culture Ambassador contest.

According to this announcement, students from all grades 1 to 5 are required to participate.

Students must fully answer two questions posed in one of the two exams.

In the first test there are two questions. In test number 2 there are also two questions, but the only difference from test number 1 is the first question.

Students are required to submit one of two forms. If the student is taking the written exam, the essay must be handwritten or typed and must not exceed 5,000 words, or less than 15 typed pages.

If you enter with a video clip, the clip must be at least 5 minutes long and no longer than 10 minutes. The rules also require that the entry be made by the contestant himself/herself.
