Dong Thap students pay tribute to heroic martyrs

DTO - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the morning of July 25, Dong Thap Community College, Viet Xo Construction Electromechanical College and Dong Thap Provincial Employment Service Center organized a delegation to visit the provincial Martyrs Cemetery in My Tra ward.

The delegation of Dong Thap Community College included school leaders, staff from departments and faculties, and 250 students. The delegation of the Viet Xo Construction Electromechanical College and Dong Thap Provincial Employment Service Center included leaders of the unit, 75 staff, lecturers, and more than 500 students.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation offered flowers, incense, and observed a minute of silence to express their respect and deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland. Afterwards, the delegations went to burn incense on each martyr's grave.

This is an activity with profound educational significance, reminding the younger generation to remember the merits of their predecessors, while continuing to promote the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", actively practicing, studying and contributing to their homeland and country.
