(Fatherland) - Star lanterns were written with loving wishes by students in the capital to send to children on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 on Truong Sa archipelago.
Responding to the program "Moon of the Sea 2024", Tran Duy Hung Secondary School, Cau Giay District, Hanoi launched a meaningful activity for students to participate in, such as writing wishes on star lanterns to send to children in Truong Sa archipelago.
As the Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, teachers and students of Tran Duy Hung Secondary School spend time completing 200 star lanterns and 200 masks to send to children in Truong Sa archipelago to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
"The school believes that this meaningful activity will contribute to raising students' awareness of love for their homeland and country, arousing their will, pride and responsibility to protect the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland," said teacher Vu Thi Nhu Phuong (Head of the Youth Union).
The children enthusiastically made star lanterns and masks to send to the children in Truong Sa.

The masks were painted very carefully by the students.
"Today I made this to send you a warm and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival, gathering with your family. Hope you feel happy with this. Thank you for reading. Good luck with your studies!" is the wish of Bao Linh (student of Tran Duy Hung Secondary School).
Sending warm wishes to the children on the remote island, Ta Trinh Ngoc Bich, Tran Duy Hung Secondary School, said: “I want to send the love of all the people on the mainland to you. Wishing you a warm and happy Mid-Autumn Festival with your family and loved ones, receiving many wonderful things. Wishing you and everyone on the island peace.”
Students visited and listened to lectures about Truong Sa archipelago through realistic images.
