The Vietnamese Rowing team competed excellently, winning a total of 6 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal and 2 Bronze Medals, affirming the increasingly solid position of Vietnamese Rowing in the regional arena.
Notably, the Hai Phong Rowing team, which had 2 coaches and 5 athletes called up to the national team, made an important contribution to the overall achievement, with 1 Gold Medal and 1 Bronze Medal. Specifically, the Gold Medal belonged to the LW4x event of athlete Nguyen Thi Giang (Hai Phong) and three athletes from Hung Yen, Ca Mau and Hanoi ; the Bronze Medal belonged to the M4x event of athletes Nguyen Van Ha, Bui Van Hoan, Nguyen Huu Thanh (Hai Phong) and one athlete from Ha Tinh.

This year's tournament brings together 678 members from 18 Asian countries and territories, including: Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan (China), Philippines, North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and host country Vietnam. This is a large-scale tournament, with the participation of the President of the International Rowing Federation (FISA), Director of FISA Development, President, Vice Presidents and General Secretary of the Asian Rowing Federation (ARF), along with Presidents, General Secretaries of National Federations, international referees and supervisors.
The 2025 Asian Rowing Championship is organized by the Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnam Rowing Federation, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports of Hai Phong City, under the authorization of the Asian Rowing Federation and the permission of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Hai Phong City. Being chosen to host is an honor and pride for Hai Phong City, at the same time demonstrating Vietnam's capacity and responsibility in international sports integration, contributing to promoting the image of a dynamic, friendly country ready for continental-level events.

The competitions were fierce, dramatic and attractive, and were highly appreciated for their professional quality. Many athletes expressed their impression of the ideal competition conditions in Hai Phong, the stable natural water surface, meeting international standards, and the professional and thoughtful organization. The success of the tournament not only brought about quality competitions, but also contributed to raising the image of Hai Phong city, opening up opportunities to host many international sports tournaments in the future.
In addition to the races, the Organizing Committee also organizes many sideline activities such as sightseeing tours, cultural and culinary experiences in Hai Phong for athletes and international guests. These activities contribute to promoting the image of a friendly and unique Vietnam, while spreading the spirit of solidarity, friendship and cooperation among countries in the region.
