According to the 2022-2023 school year schedule issued by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, schools from kindergarten to high school will complete the school year program and other educational activities on May 20.

Then, from May 22-26, schools will hold closing ceremonies for the school year. Students will have summer vacation after this closing ceremony.

According to Thanh Nien Newspaper reporters, with the above time frame, depending on the education plan, each school has a different schedule for the end of the school year and summer vacation.

For example, at Hoa Binh Primary School (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), Vice Principal Nguyen Thi Mai Huong said that students completed their science, history, geography and English tests on April 28. After that, students will have a break for Hung Kings' death anniversary, April 30 and May 1, and when they return to school, they will take tests in math and Vietnamese from May 8.

According to Ms. Huong, after completing the second semester tests, primary school students have almost completed their study tasks. On the closing day of the school year, the school will organize extracurricular activities for students... It is expected that Hoa Binh Primary School will close the school year on May 25 and students will officially have summer vacation from that day.

Similarly, Mr. Tran Van Luyen, Principal of Hong Bang Secondary School (District 5), said that 9th grade students will complete their second semester exams at the end of April to complete the data for 10th grade admission.

Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 will complete their exams around May 15. It is expected that students at Hong Bang Secondary School will enter summer vacation on May 25.

Mr. Cao Duc Khoa, Principal of Huynh Khuong Ninh Secondary School (District 1), informed that students will complete their second semester exams before May 8. After that, teachers will grade the papers and students will participate in other educational activities such as club activities, extracurricular activities, and after-school activities in the next 2 weeks. Huynh Khuong Ninh Secondary School will close the school year on May 24 and students will start their summer vacation from that time.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc, Principal of Duong Van Thi High School (Thu Duc City), said that the school will organize the second semester exam until May 10. After that, teachers will grade the papers and complete the remaining knowledge content of the program. On May 26, the school will summarize the closing ceremony and students will officially have summer vacation.
