Diplomatic Academy announces 4 admission methods in 2025

The Diplomatic Academy announced that it will accept applications for university admission in 2025 from June 25, with 4 admission methods.

On May 26, the Diplomatic Academy officially announced university admission information for 2025. This year, the Diplomatic Academy plans to enroll 2,200 students for 12 training majors, through 4 admission methods, with the earliest application deadline starting June 25.

Specifically, the 4 methods include: direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (method 1); admission combined with high school study results of Vietnamese programs and international certificates (method 2); admission based on A-level/IB Diploma certificates and international certificates (method 3); admission based on the results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam (method 4).

With method 2, in addition to the subject converted from the certificate, math or literature, the remaining subjects the candidate can choose, not being bound by each combination but choosing the subject in the list of combinations.

With method 4, the admission combination includes: A00, A01, C00, D01, DD2, D03, D04, D06, D07, D09, D10, D14, D15.

Candidates can convert international certificates to replace foreign languages ​​in the combination. They can use foreign language certificates other than the original language combination (for example, using Topik - Korean certificate - to convert instead of English D01).

In particular, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, this year the Diplomatic Academy only calculates the quota by major, not by admission method. The admission score is converted to a scale of 30, rounded to 2 decimal places.

Specific indicators for each industry code are as follows:

Registration time for methods 2 and 3 is from June 25 to before 5:00 p.m. on July 5 at the academy's admissions portal (register online).

Then, from July 16 to before 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates register for admission (online) for methods 2, 3, and 4 on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission information portal (or on the national public service portal).

For method 1, candidates register (online) on the academy's admission portal from June 25 to before 5:00 p.m. on June 30; from July 16 to 28, they confirm their admission or register their wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission portal (or on the national public service portal).
