Hoi An invests more than 6.5 billion VND to restore and repair relics

(QNO) - Hoi An City People's Committee has just agreed on the investment policy to renovate and repair relics in the city in 2025 with a total estimated investment of more than 6.5 billion VND.

The approved list of relic restoration and repair includes: Whitewashing and marking steles of community and revolutionary historical relics; repairing some construction items and relic sites including the Local Products Museum, Hoi An Tien Tu, Kazik Park; restoring and artistically illuminating the gate of Ba Mu Pagoda; trimming the climbing flower trellis in Hoi An ancient town; minor repairs to relics in Tan Hiep, Cam Kim, Cam Thanh communes and Cua Dai and Thanh Ha wards; whitewashing and repairing the roof system of Hoi An Museum; repairing Ba Temple (Hai Ba Trung Street)...

Thereby, overcoming damage and degradation, protecting relics in the city as well as serving the management and promotion of the value of local cultural heritage and traditions.

The City People's Committee assigned the Hoi An Cultural Heritage Management and Conservation Center as the investor, responsible for completing documents and procedures in accordance with regulations on construction investment management; organizing construction to ensure quality, progress and disbursement of investment capital according to the plan.
