Conference to commend and honor typical advanced models nationwide in 2023

Attending the conference, the province had 17 delegates (including 7 delegates who were national emulation fighters, 5 delegates who were typical advanced figures of the province), led by Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council Tran Ngoc Tam.

At the conference, the Central Economic and Social Council recognized 700 typical advanced models across the country. The Prime Minister awarded certificates of merit to 75 typical advanced models in all fields. Ben Tre was honored to have 1 typical advanced model receiving a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister. That is comrade Dao Van Hoi - Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Thanh commune (Giong Trom district) - a typical example in the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas". With his closeness and attachment to the people, flexibility, creativity and experience in mass mobilization, comrade Dao Van Hoi, together with the local leadership, brought two communes in Giong Trom district to meet new rural standards (Chau Binh commune achieved the title of the province's first new rural commune in 2013, Binh Thanh commune achieved the title of new rural commune in 2017, and achieved advanced new rural commune in 2021).

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated 700 advanced models as 700 beautiful flowers in the country's emulation garden. The Prime Minister requested all levels and sectors to pay more attention to emulation work, uphold the spirit of "The more difficult it is, the more we must compete"; promptly commend, honor, reward and replicate advanced models; call on the entire army and people to continue to strive to compete to contribute to building a rich and prosperous Vietnam.
