Trade conference to expand product consumption market between Dak Lak and Cao Bang provinces

On the afternoon of May 27, the Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak province coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade of Cao Bang province to organize a trade conference to expand the consumption market of products of the two provinces. Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Van Nhiem, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak province and Ms. Dong Thi Kieu Oanh, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Cao Bang province, co-chairing the conference; with the presence of businesses of the two provinces, reporters of newspapers and television stations reporting.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Nhiem, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak province, introduced the potential strengths of Dak Lak province, and at the same time, he really wanted to organize more trade connection conferences, as well as create a playground for businesses to promote, connect, and promote the consumption of typical products of the province in particular and localities in general. This is an opportunity for distributors and manufacturers to have the opportunity to contact, increase market understanding, find partners, promote exchanges and expand cooperation in consumption to form a distribution network for businesses. Currently, Dak Lak province has 140 OCOP products (including 01 product with 5 stars, 19 products with 4 stars and 120 products with 3 stars), along with 36 products certified as typical rural industrial products, contributing to enriching the collection of specialties of the Central Highlands in general and Dak Lak in particular.

Ms. Dong Thi Kieu Oanh, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Cao Bang province, introduced the potential, strengths, and key products of Cao Bang province, and also affirmed that she will act as a bridge for Dak Lak province to connect trade with the Chinese market in the future. At the conference, businesses directly introduced, exchanged information, discussed cooperation between manufacturers and distributors, and signed memorandums of understanding for sustainable and long-term development. This conference is considered an important foundation in connecting supply and demand of goods, helping businesses of the two provinces access new markets, improve their capacity to participate in the supply chain, and expand the distribution system. Thereby, creating conditions for manufacturers and distributors to better understand market demand, boost product consumption, and promote close cooperation in the coming time.

The conference connecting Dak Lak and Cao Bang provinces was a great success. As a result, 3 enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business establishments of the province signed 10 Memorandums of Understanding on cooperation.
