Training conference for commune-level officials to implement the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas by 2025

On October 3, 2025, the Provincial Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions held the Opening Conference to train and foster commune-level officials to implement the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas in 2025 (Phase 2).

Attending the Conference were comrade Nong Quoc Khoi, Deputy Director of the Department, representatives of specialized departments under the Department and 250 delegates who are leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee of the commune; civil servants of the Economic Department, the Department of Culture - Society; members of the Commune Project Management Board; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune; Youth Union, Veterans Association, Women's Union of the commune; households, youth unions of hamlets... of 55 communes, wards and 03 departments and branches.

During this training session, trainees will attend classes on specific topics and fields, including: Professional skills and procedures for managing investment in infrastructure projects invested by communes; Basic bidding skills. Community bidding, online bidding; Professional skills in managing investment projects in construction of infrastructure projects; Professional skills in managing finance and payment, settlement of investment capital for construction projects, career capital; Skills in building and implementing projects, activities to preserve and promote cultural identity of ethnic groups associated with tourism development; "Digital literacy" program on training to improve capacity for communities and officials at all levels to implement the Program.

With the motto of "holding hands, showing work", minimizing theoretical lectures, focusing on practice, the training conference aims to equip basic and practical knowledge, improve capacity for commune-level officials, civil servants, and communities on organizing and implementing sub-projects, projects, and component contents of the Program. At the end of the training course, trainees can immediately apply it to practical work in the locality, striving to accelerate the completion of the goals and targets of the National Target Program 1719 by 2025./.
