Opening ceremony of Bach Tinh communal house and pagoda

On the morning of October 3 (the 11th day of the 8th lunar month), the Bach Tinh communal house - pagoda festival took place in Tan Thuan commune, one of the national historical - cultural relics with hundreds of years of history.

Communal house   - Bach Tinh Pagoda   worshiping "The Holy Angel Nguyen Suy Dai Vuong" and "The Eighteen Dragon Gods Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva", is a national historical and cultural relic.   During the resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism, this place was a meeting place for patriotic scholars and intellectuals, a place to hide cadres and propagate revolution.

A folk art performance reenacting the village god epic opens the special festival.

This year's festival takes place from the 12th to the 15th of the 8th lunar month with many traditional rituals such as: Buddha worship, Saint worship, palanquin procession, and folk games, attracting a large number of people and tourists. According to tradition, every 5 years, the village organizes the water procession and the Temple procession, a unique cultural feature that demonstrates the spirit of community cohesion and preserving the soul of the homeland.

Bach Tinh communal house - pagoda festival is not only an occasion to pay tribute to ancestors but also an attractive cultural and spiritual tourism destination, contributing to promoting the local image.
