Warm "Full Moon Festival" for ethnic minority children in Thanh My commune

DNO - On October 4, Nam Giang Charity Association, Nhan Ai Da Nang Social Work Team coordinated with World Vision (Nam Giang Regional Development Program) to organize the "Full Moon Festival" program for ethnic minority children in Thanh My commune.

The program brought nearly 400 Co Tu children a warm space with many activities such as: group dancing and singing, telling fairy tales of "Uncle Cuoi - Sister Hang", carrying star lanterns, watching lion dances, participating in folk games and breaking the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival.

Each child received a gift including candy, milk, star lanterns, and a nutritious meal prepared by volunteers.

On this occasion, the Nhan Ai Social Work Team presented Dung Village Primary School with a 55-inch TV and water storage facilities for daily activities and study. The total value of the program is estimated at nearly 70 million VND.

Mr. Le Phuoc Khoi, Secretary of Dung Village Party Cell, shared that the program brings joy to the Mid-Autumn Festival for local children. This is a meaningful spiritual gift, helping them to be more motivated to study, strive to become good citizens, and contribute to building their mountainous homeland.

The "Full Moon Festival" ended in a warm atmosphere, filled with laughter, leaving many emotions and expectations for a complete and loving Mid-Autumn Festival for children in disadvantaged ethnic minority areas in Thanh My commune.
