Mr. Tran Lien, alias Huong Phan, was born in 1908 in Chau Son village, in a family with a rich patriotic tradition. From 1932, he participated in activities and led the revolutionary movement in Que Phong commune (old). He died on March 5, 1955.

His house is a place associated with many important events in the revolutionary movement and local mass movement; demonstrating the patriotism and indomitable will of the people.

To acknowledge and commemorate the contributions and sacrifices of Mr. Tran Lien's family to the revolutionary movement, the villagers unanimously built a small house made of bamboo and thatch to pay tribute to martyr Tran Lien. In 2004, the family's descendants renovated the house to pay their respects.

On June 17, 2025, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province (now the People's Committee of Da Nang city) issued Decision No. 1687 on ranking the "Revolutionary base of Mr. Tran Lien's house" as a provincial-level relic.
