Dac Pring Commune recommends that the Central Government soon upgrade and expand National Highway 14D.

DNO - On the afternoon of October 7, the City Party Committee's working delegation led by Chief of the City Party Committee Office Tran Thang Loi visited and worked with the Party Committee of Dac Pring commune on the implementation of Party building work, local government at two levels, socio-economic, national defense and security in the area.

Dac Pring commune was established on the basis of merging Dac Pre commune and Dac Pring commune of Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province (old). This is a border commune, located west of Da Nang city, bordering Laos with a border of more than 23.9km, located in the core area of ​​Song Thanh National Park.

The whole commune has 8 villages with 748 households/2,930 people, with many ethnic minorities living. The commune has 293 poor households (accounting for 39.17%), 109 near-poor households (accounting for 14.57%).

From July 1 to the end of September 2025, the total number of records received, processed and returned on the electronic one-stop software at the Commune Administrative Service Center was 438 records, reaching 100%.

As of September 2025, Dac Pring commune disbursed more than 13.5 billion VND of national target program capital, reaching 87.9% of allocated capital; disbursed 4.94 billion VND of socio -economic development capital for ethnic minority areas.

In the commune, over 70% of concentrated production and livestock areas have car roads; investment is being made to upgrade and renew many irrigation works, ensuring irrigation water for over 90% of agricultural production areas.

The total capital plan assigned in 2025 is 2,667 billion VND, up to now the commune has disbursed 2.5 billion VND (reaching 94.08% of the assigned plan). The total state budget revenue by September 2025 is 21 billion VND (reaching 66% of the assigned estimate)...

The rate of mobilizing school-age students to attend school is 100% from kindergarten to junior high school. The junior high school graduation rate is 100%, maintaining universal primary education level 2 (reaching 100%).

The rate of people in Dac Pring commune participating in health insurance is 100%, the medical station meets national criteria. The rate of households using national grid electricity is 100%, the rate of households using hygienic water is over 97%.

The commune leader said that National Highway 14D to the highland border communes is seriously degraded, the road surface is bumpy, causing a high risk of traffic accidents. The road is only 3.5m to 5.5m wide, has been exploited since 2004 with low standards, has 24 traffic "black spots" and many sections block visibility.

Therefore, the locality proposed that the Central Government soon upgrade and expand National Highway 14D to ensure traffic safety and promote local socio-economic development in mountainous and border communes in the western part of the city.

The city has a mechanism for recruiting non-professional workers; investing in upgrading and expanding the DH3 route; investing in equipment and machinery at the Commune Administrative Service Center to better serve citizens.

Chief of the City Party Committee Office Tran Thang Loi highly appreciated the efforts of the Standing Committee of the Dac Pring Commune Party Committee in focusing on leadership and direction in implementing well the work of Party building and political system, socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security.

In the coming time, the commune will continue to consolidate and build a strong grassroots party organization and improve the quality of party members. Proactively overcome difficulties and obstacles, and direct the handling of issues within its authority.

At the same time, Dac Pring needs to propose specific measures to operate the two-level local government model, ensuring efficiency and smoothness associated with changing "thinking and working methods" suitable to the actual conditions of the locality.

Regarding the proposal to soon invest in National Highway 14D, the Chief of the City Party Committee Office informed that the National Highway 14D Renovation and Upgrade Project has a total investment of more than 4,500 billion VND (mainly Central capital), with implementation period of 2025 - 2027.

Currently, the relevant unit is conducting surveys, preparing feasibility study reports, assessing environmental impacts, and is expected to complete the feasibility study report.

On this occasion, the City Party Committee Office coordinated with Quang Army Construction and Interior Architecture Corporation to present 55 gifts including necessities (worth 55 million VND) with each gift worth 200,000 VND to encourage households in difficult circumstances in Dac Pring commune.
