Improve quality, contribute to building happy families

In his speech at the celebration, journalist Ho Minh Chien, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Family Magazine, emphasized that since 1995, Family Magazine was established with the mission of propagating policies on population and family planning, disseminating knowledge of reproductive health care, and contributing to building happy families.

In 1999, the Magazine made a breakthrough with the publication Happy Couple Family, which was quickly distributed nationwide, becoming a "companion" of Vietnamese families.

In 2011, the Magazine was upgraded to Vietnam Family Newspaper and developed in both print and electronic versions, actively contributing to the development of the country's press. In 2020, according to the national press planning, Vietnam Family Newspaper became a magazine with many fundamental innovations.

After 30 years of establishment and development, Vietnam Family Magazine is not only a press forum but also a humane bridge with the community through many outstanding activities such as the program "Family memories - Lighting up the future", "Women overcoming fate"; writing contest "Father and daughter"; National Press Agency Football Tournament - Press Cup... Besides professional and sports activities, the magazine also focuses on charity programs such as flood relief for compatriots in the Central region, building schools in highlands in Son La, supporting poor children in many provinces and cities, donating charity houses...

With those contributions, Vietnam Family Magazine has received many certificates of merit and emulation flags from ministries, branches, professional associations, etc.

From those solid foundations, journalist Ho Minh Chien emphasized: “Vietnam Family Magazine will continue to promote the achieved tradition, constantly improve the quality of content and form, cultivate professional skills and build a team in the spirit of lean, compact, strong and effective; closely follow the objectives, put the magazine on the right track, specialized, specialized, dedicated, becoming a leading unit in the field and scope of operation according to the license prescribed by the press management agency. The magazine will actively participate in social activities, together with the governing body, units, partners and all levels of industry to join hands to build a prosperous and developed country, with a happy and prosperous family”.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh praised the achievements of Vietnam Family Magazine over the past 30 years and emphasized the magazine's constant innovation, creativity, improvement of human resource quality, promotion of technology application, and promotion of digital transformation to keep up with modern journalism and media trends.

According to journalist Le Quoc Minh, the magazine's content still retains its identity, closely follows its purpose and objectives, serves its propaganda mission well, and at the same time provides comprehensive information, focusing on key issues related to Vietnamese families, especially the issue of building happy families, cultural families, providing skills and knowledge on family health care, smart consumption, etc.

Emphasizing that the press must have a stronger transformation, to have a firm stance to enter the new era with strong and great aspirations, journalist Le Quoc Minh suggested that the Vietnam Family Magazine should focus on a number of key tasks. Among them, continuing to improve the quality of content, considering content as the core value to position the brand; training, fostering, having policies to attract good personnel; strongly innovating the management model, the operation of the editorial office in the direction of streamlining, one person doing many things well by applying advances in science and technology, digital transformation to create high-quality products.

Along with that, the magazine actively disseminates information and propaganda on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies related to the family sector, building a civilized cultural and social life, well serving the requirements and tasks of the Vietnamese revolutionary press in the new period.
