Investment Promotion Conference must be appropriate to the stature of the new Lam Dong

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested units, departments, branches and localities to focus on completing all preparations so that the Investment Promotion Conference takes place in accordance with the stature of the new Lam Dong.

Lam Dong Province Investment Promotion Conference 2025 is expected to take place in 2 days from October 10-11, 2025 at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat (Lam Dong).

On the evening of August 26, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi chaired a meeting to agree on the content of the Plan to organize the Lam Dong Provincial Investment Promotion Conference in 2025. Also attending were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments, branches and localities.

Reporting at the meeting, the Lam Dong Province Investment - Trade and Tourism Promotion Center said that the unit is coordinating with departments, branches and localities to prepare venues, select guests and other stages for the conference that are being implemented.

The unit has issued invitations to survey and collect difficulties and problems of enterprises. The classification and response to recommendations on difficulties and problems of enterprises are sent to relevant departments and branches for response.

At the meeting, the vice chairmen of the provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments and branches of Lam Dong province said that for the conference to be successful, the invitation letter and presentation slides should be in both English and Vietnamese to facilitate domestic and foreign investors. The province should invite many investors from large provinces to seek investment opportunities.

Deputy Director of the Department of Finance Le Binh Minh stated the content related to projects calling for investment.

For projects included in the investment call list, full legality is required, especially projects in the period 2026-2030. The province should select large enterprises to present investment memorandums of understanding. There should be social security activities in the conference...

Director of Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Loc reported on the progress of the unit's preparation tasks for the upcoming Investment Promotion Conference.

With the expected theme “Lam Dong - A place for investment and development creation”, the Lam Dong Investment Promotion Conference 2025 will have about 1,000 delegates attending. The conference is expected to take place over 2 days from October 10-11, 2025 at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat (Lam Dong).

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Phuc said that it is necessary to summarize the difficulties and problems of enterprises and investors according to each group of issues, in order to ensure highly effective feedback.

The conference will be organized in a modern direction, strongly integrating digital technology such as: AI robots, 3D digital maps, virtual tours of projects, Livestream on digital platforms...

Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Vo Ngoc Hiep proposed that projects included in the investment call list this time must be projects that ensure full legality.

Within the framework of the conference, there will be activities such as: Music and art performances combined with a program to honor typical entrepreneurs; Displaying planning maps and a number of projects calling for investment; Displaying and introducing commercial products and services of Lam Dong province's enterprises.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh proposed that units should proactively prepare full content and scripts for provincial leaders to answer opinions and proposals of businesses at the conference.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi highly appreciated the efforts of many units in preparing quite complete and detailed scenarios. However, to organize a successful conference, true to the stature of the new Lam Dong, the province still has a lot of work to do.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan requested the unit producing the video presentation at the conference to be very polished, with full content, clearly reflecting the potential and advantages of the province.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed that in order to organize the Investment Promotion Conference well, Lam Dong must first effectively implement the Dialogue Program with enterprises. Tomorrow, departments and branches will respond to the information portal about the problems and difficulties proposed by enterprises. However, when posting documents and content on the information portal, the units must ensure compliance with legal procedures. Any enterprises that still have questions, the province will arrange for them to have a direct dialogue.
