Workshop on building international cooperation networks and enhancing capacity for training future nurses

Today, September 28, Quang Tri Medical College organized a workshop on building an international cooperation network and improving the capacity to train future nurses in colleges and universities in the ASEAN region, Korea, and the United States.

At the workshop, colleges and universities in the region discussed, exchanged ideas, dialogued, shared knowledge, resources and innovative practices, collaborated on research, enhanced nursing training capacity in the future, and sought opportunities to promote cross-border cooperation.

The aim of the conference is to enhance nursing education globally; share best practices, develop new curricula and enhance the capacity of our nursing workforce to meet the increasingly diverse needs of our communities.

With an open spirit and active participation in discussions, opportunities to connect, inspire each other and explore new cooperation avenues in the future, representatives of leaders and experts from the College of Nursing, Yonsei University (Korea); DePaul University (USA); Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Ubon Ratchathani (Thailand); Savannakhet Provincial College of Health Sciences , Xieng Khouang Provincial College of Health Sciences (Laos); STIKES University, Mitra Husada Medan, Indonesia and Quang Tri Medical College have agreed to sign a letter of intent to build an international cooperation network and train to improve nursing capacity in the future.

Accordingly, the immediate priority areas for cooperation between schools include: Implementing nursing practice, nursing training, nursing training methods; Sharing resources, lecturers, equipment and support tools in research; Exchanging research, organizing cooperation seminars, seeking international training cooperation opportunities to meet future nursing training needs.
