The 1st Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tan Phong Ward

The 1st Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tan Phong ward was chosen by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province as a model congress at the provincial level.

During the past term, the great solidarity bloc of ethnic groups in the ward has been regularly consolidated, expanded and promoted. People trust in the leadership of the Party and the innovation in implementing the two-level local government model.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front of the ward organized 21 meetings to meet voters before and after the sessions of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, with 1,470 voters attending; promptly synthesizing 178 opinions and recommendations of voters to forward to competent authorities for consideration, resolution and monitoring of responses, resolution, and protection of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of voters and the People.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front of the ward continues to affirm its central role in uniting the entire people, mobilizing people to donate 12,150 m2 of land and 750 working days to build intra-field and inter-village roads. Supported the construction of 18 "Great Unity" houses; coordinated the elimination of 34 temporary and dilapidated houses for families of meritorious people, martyrs' relatives, poor and near-poor households, contributing to reducing the poverty rate in the ward to 1.7%. Also during its term, the Fatherland Front of the ward has effectively implemented the model "Clean House, Beautiful Garden" with 156 registered households; the model "Clean House, Beautiful Street" with 21 registered residential groups. Up to now, the whole ward has 89% of residential groups and 95% of households meeting cultural standards.

The 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tan Phong Ward, term 2025 - 2030 determined to continue consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; strongly innovating the content and methods of operation of the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations of the ward; promoting the application of digital transformation.

The Congress agreed on a Resolution consisting of 9 targets, 6 action programs and 2 breakthroughs. Strive to have each residential area form at least 1 self-governing group or team in the community every year; have at least 1 typical, exemplary, specific project, model or task, contributing to building, serving the community, and developing the local socio-economy. Propagate and mobilize 100% of residential areas to build and incorporate the content of eliminating bad customs, outdated customs and practices into the community convention and organize implementation.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Sung A Ho - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee praised and congratulated the achievements of the Fatherland Front of Tan Phong ward in the past term. He suggested that the Fatherland Front of the ward in the next term continue to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, strengthen social consensus, strongly arouse the spirit of patriotism, the desire to contribute, contributing to building Lai Chau to develop green, fast and sustainably. Continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; apply information technology, digital transformation in the work of the Front. Especially promote and practice democracy, improve the substance of supervision, social criticism, contribute to building a clean and strong Party and government at all levels; actively participate in preventing corruption and negativity. Pay attention to building a team of Front cadres to meet the requirements and tasks in the current period.

The Congress unanimously elected 65 comrades to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, term I, 2025 - 2030; Consulted to elect 11 official delegates to attend the 14th Provincial Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2025 - 2030.

At the first working session, the Congress elected Mr. Le Hong Quyet to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, term I, 2025 - 2030.
