Support children with cancer and serious illnesses in Quang Tri

At the program, the Quang Tri Province Association for Supporting Poor Patients, together with other units and sponsors, presented financial support to 62 children with cancer and other serious illnesses in difficult circumstances who are being treated at medical facilities in and outside the province. Each case received support from 2-5 million VND, with a total value of 252 million VND. The funding was mobilized from contributions and sharing of kind-hearted individuals, sponsors and accompanying units.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, President of the Association for Supporting Poor Patients of Quang Tri province, said: Understanding and sharing the difficulties of children and families with children with cancer and serious illnesses, in the first phase (August 2025), the Association awarded 200 million VND to support treatment costs for 20 children.

To continue to help more disadvantaged patients, especially children with cancer and serious illnesses, the Quang Tri Province Association for Supporting Poor Patients has spread the meaning of the program; through charity channels, actively calling for and mobilizing the community's cooperation to help more unfortunate children with serious illnesses.

Promoting the spirit of “mutual love”, “the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves”, with the companionship and help of benefactors and sponsors with kind hearts, the Quang Tri Province Poor Patients Support Association continues to organize the second round of support for 62 other children with cancer and serious illnesses. The total of both rounds has supported 82 children, with a total value of more than 450 million VND.

The gifts given in the program are not only material assistance but also spiritual support, spreading love and sharing from kind hearts to children who are fighting with diseases every day. The program to support children with cancer and serious illnesses in difficult circumstances of the Association for Supporting Poor Patients of Quang Tri province is an activity with profound humanitarian meaning, connecting kind hearts, community solidarity in caring for, supporting and accompanying vulnerable groups in society.
