Candidates participating in the contest
This is an activity in response to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification, innovation in historyeducation methods, promotion of the campaigns "Our people must know our history", "Proud of Vietnamese history", the movement "Building friendly schools, active students" as well as carrying out the action "Sow tradition, reap the future".
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History said: "Today's contest is not only an opportunity for students to challenge themselves through historical knowledge, but also a journey to connect with the past - to realize that history does not end in books, but is still alive and present through each artifact in the museum. At the same time, teachers, parents and uncles and aunts at the Museum hope that after the contest, students will not only remember the heroic pages of history but also love their homeland more, cherish the heritage of their ancestors and nurture the dream of preserving and spreading Vietnamese history."

The contest has 60 contestants competing in 2 rounds in the form of direct elimination, including: Multiple choice and essay with content revolving around Vietnamese history, historical relics in Ho Chi Minh City. During the contest, there will be a rescue contest with the participation of 4 teachers representing each school. The teachers will participate in the game "Catch the word by the picture". Within 1 minute, they will answer 5 questions, each correct answer will "save" 2 contestants of their school.
Final results:
- Top scorer: Candidate Tran Anh Khoa - Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary School.
- Top scorers: Candidates Pham Khoi Nguyen and Lai Minh Son - Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School.
- Third prize winner: Candidate Tran Duy Nhan - Khai Minh Primary School.
