On the afternoon of September 18, at the National Cinema Center (Hanoi), the Ho Chi Minh Museum Youth Union organized a thematic activity: "Educating revolutionary ideals for union members and youth through the film Red Rain". This is a practical activity to innovate the form of thematic activities, contributing to educating union members and youth with vivid and emotional images and stories from cinema on the theme of revolutionary war.

Attending the thematic activity were comrade Pham Thi Thanh Mai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Museum, comrades in the Party Committee, management staff and all members of the Ho Chi Minh Museum Youth Union.

The film “Red Rain” produced by the People’s Army Cinema, adapted from the novel of the same name by writer Chu Lai, realistically and movingly recreates the heroic, arduous and sacrificial battle of our army and people during 81 days and nights defending Quang Tri Citadel in 1972. Through each film, members and young people further understand the fierceness of war, and at the same time feel more deeply the courage, indomitable spirit, resilience and message of patriotism and desire for peace of the previous generation.

Through the thematic activities, each member and youth of the Ho Chi Minh Museum Youth Union not only nurtured love for the homeland, country, and national pride, but also aroused the sense of responsibility of today's youth in studying, training and working. This is also an opportunity for the young generation of Ho Chi Minh Museum to pay tribute to the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs, thereby continuing to promote the spirit of initiative and creativity, contributing to building and protecting the Fatherland in the new period.
