The drizzle made the air in the border area of Cao Bang even colder. From Highway 34, follow the small, bumpy, rocky, muddy roads leading to the elementary schools perched precariously on the mountainside.
In the light drizzle, Mr. Hoang Van Bao (27 years old, living in Bao Lam district) rode an old motorbike carrying his 8-year-old son from home to school to receive gifts from Tuoi Tre newspaper and Cao Bang Provincial Youth Union.
Holding the gift bag in his hand, Mr. Bao was moved to send his thanks to Tuoi Tre newspaper, Cao Bang Provincial Youth Union and Morinaga Milk Group for sending meaningful gifts to his son, as well as disadvantaged students at Vinh Quang Primary School.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tung, principal of Vinh Quang Primary School, shared that seeing the students receive meaningful gifts, the school's teachers were very excited.
“This is a source of encouragement, a valuable material and spiritual gift for the school to continue to do well ineducation . Through these support sessions, students will be motivated and excited to go to school to learn,” said Mr. Tung, adding that most of the students here are from disadvantaged and poor households.
