To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Ngai Province (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025), more than 1,000 ornamental plants and animals are being displayed and exhibited at the Provincial Conference and Exhibition Center these days.

Accordingly, starting on March 24th, the Quang Ngai Provincial Ornamental Plants Association organized the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Quang Ngai Province Expanded Ornamental Plants Exhibition, Competition, and Fair. This competition will last from March 20th to April 2nd, 2025. From the very first day, it attracted thousands of artisans, local people, and tourists.


The exhibition space features over 70 booths from 28 nurseries across 11 provinces and cities nationwide, showcasing more than 1,000 bonsai trees and cultural heritage products. Among these, the organizers will select and honor 50 outstanding large and oversized bonsai trees symbolizing the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Ngai Province – a unique feature of this exhibition. In addition to the bonsai competition, the event will also include competitions for ornamental stones, singing birds, and orchids.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Minh Giu, Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial Ornamental Plants Association, said that this is the largest Ornamental Plants Exhibition, Competition, and Fair ever held in Quang Ngai province, featuring many outstanding works of art. The 2025 Ornamental Plants Exhibition, Competition, and Fair aims to contribute to the development of the ornamental plants industry, transforming it into a high-value ecological economic sector.
