On this occasion, the delegation also heard a report on the results of activities in 2025 and the preparations for the First Congress of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Ca Mau province. Currently, the province has approximately 25,000 victims of Agent Orange who are receiving care and support through various means.
Colonel, Dr. Pham Xuan Hung, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, and Mr. Bui Minh Hai, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, presented livelihood support to victims of Agent Orange.
Speaking at the meeting, Colonel, Dr. Pham Xuan Hung, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin and Director of the Vietnam Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims Fund, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of Ca Mau province in caring for and supporting victims and their families affected by Agent Orange.

He suggested that in the coming period, the province should continue to strengthen its organization and expand its support network. At the same time, it should coordinate the implementation of the plan to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam (August 10, 1961 - August 10, 2026), linking it with the promotion of social welfare programs and mobilizing additional resources to help victims in a practical and effective way.
