More than 11,000 candidates take the specialized competency assessment exam for pedagogy

On May 25, Dr. Huynh Trung Phong - Head of the Communication Department of the Specialized Competency Assessment Exam (H-SCA), Ho Chi Minh City University of Education said that the second round of the exam had more than 11,000 candidates participating at 4 different testing locations.

Accordingly, the second round of the Specialized Competency Assessment Test took place from May 22 to 25 at the main campus of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (nearly 5,700 candidates) and from May 24 to 25, there were 4 additional testing locations including: Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (more than 3,100 candidates), Long An Branch of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (more than 900 candidates), Tay Nguyen University (nearly 1,300 candidates) and Hue University of Education (nearly 1,000 candidates).

According to Mr. Phong, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Education's Specialized Competency Assessment (H-SCA) in 2025 will include 6 subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature and English. Candidates can choose one or more subjects to apply for admission to majors at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and partner universities of this exam.

The results of the 2025 specialized competency assessment exam are currently accepted by many other prestigious universities, including: Hanoi National University of Education, Hanoi National University of Education 2, Hue University of Education, Danang University of Education, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, Nguyen Tat Thanh University...

It is expected that the results of the second round of exams will be announced to candidates on June 6, 2025 on their personal accounts registered at the website https://dkdgnl.hcmue.edu.vn/. In 2025, H-SCA will still have one more exam in Ho Chi Minh City scheduled to take place on July 8, 9 and 10. The school will start registering for this exam on June 8.
