More than 150 international delegates planted friendship trees in Da Nang

On January 18, at Suoi Nguon Friendship Park (Hoang Sa - Le Van Luong - Luong Huu Khanh intersection, Tho Quang ward, Son Tra district, Da Nang city), a friendship tree planting ceremony took place. The event is within the framework of the Forum of Friendship and Cooperation Cities organized by the People's Committee of Da Nang city.

More than 150 international delegates from diplomatic agencies, localities and foreign organizations in 24 countries participated in planting cajuput trees to contribute more trees to Son Tra peninsula. This is a tree with strong vitality, symbolizing more than 50 localities of 24 countries in the world with which Da Nang has established relations.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, said that the city built Suoi Nguon Friendship Park with the desire to strengthen friendship, long-term and sustainable cooperation, solidarity, convergence and mutual development. This is a stream with water source from the top of Son Tra peninsula, flowing into Da Nang sea (also known as Suoi Da).

He hopes that, with the premise of close friendship with provinces and cities around the world , Da Nang city will receive the attention, sharing and cooperation of localities more and more deeply and widely in many fields such as: innovation, smart city, information technology, high technology, semiconductor technology, artificial intelligence, urban planning and management, high-quality human resources, tourism...

At the Forum of Friendship and Cooperation Cities - Da Nang 2025, many agreements and cooperation minutes were signed between Da Nang city and foreign partners and investment projects.

Specifically, the City People's Committee signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen friendship and cooperation, promote economic and cultural development with Aktau city (Kazakhstan) and Genoa (Italy). Representatives of the Management Board of the High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones of Da Nang exchanged a memorandum of understanding on investment promotion in the High-Tech Park with Andersen Vietnam Co., Ltd. Representatives of the Center for Research and Training in Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence (DSAC) and the units: Synopsys Vietnam Co., Ltd., Tresemi Organization (USA), ASA Holding Co., Ltd. exchanged a memorandum of understanding on 4-party cooperation on training in semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence. DSAC and the units of Intel Vietnam Co., Ltd., ASA Holding Co., Ltd. exchanged a memorandum of understanding on 3-party cooperation on building hardware infrastructure, organizing training courses for artificial intelligence engineers in Da Nang city using Intel's semiconductor microchip and artificial intelligence technology.

On this occasion, Da Nang city granted investment certificates to 4 enterprises. Among them, Aeon Vietnam Co., Ltd. with the Aeon Mall Vietnam project has a total investment value of 3 million USD.
