Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Tan Ho has just signed to approve the coastal road project of Phu Yen province, the section connecting Tuy An district - Tuy Hoa city (phase 1).
The route is designed with a roadbed width of 42m, including a motor vehicle section width of 16m, a median strip width of 16m, a sidewalk width of 10m; design speed of 60km/hour.
The starting point of the route connects with the coastal road project north of An Hai bridge; the end point is at the Submarine Nursing Center (An Phu commune, Tuy Hoa city). The route has a total length of about 14.6km.
The project is invested by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board. The total investment of the project is 2,228 billion VND.
The project aims to gradually invest in completing the coastal road, which is the main traffic axis connecting inter-regional traffic, linking urban clusters, industrial parks, large projects with the seaport system, airports and connecting other types of transportation.
The project, when put into operation, will create favorable conditions for the effective exploitation and use of marine and coastal resources, serving the socio-economic development of coastal localities; strengthening national defense and security to firmly protect the country's sovereignty , social security, adapt to climate change and sustainable development of the region in general and Phu Yen province in particular.
