More than 2,777 billion VND invested in the project of Domestic Solid Waste Treatment Plant

DNO - The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City has just issued Notice No. 262/TB-SNMT inviting investors to register their interest in implementing the project of a 1,000-ton/day domestic solid waste treatment plant under the public-private partnership (PPP) method at the Solid Waste Treatment Complex at Khanh Son landfill.

The project implementation location is at Khanh Son Solid Waste Treatment Complex, Hoa Khanh Ward, Da Nang City. Regarding the scale of the project, the factory has a capacity to treat 1,000 tons of domestic solid waste/day and night; power generation capacity of 20MW. The preliminary total investment is more than 2,777 billion VND.

Regarding investment, there are pre-treatment items including: weighing station; garbage truck collection area; garbage receiving tank; preliminary classification, pre-treatment storage; leachate collection. The incinerator area includes the following items: fuel loading area; leachate collection; incinerator system; ash and slag collection system; exhaust gas treatment system; chimney; fly ash maintenance area; solidification of finished fly ash; heating system; boiler; power generation turbine.

Production service items include central control and monitoring area; raw water treatment station; cooling tower; main pumping station; transformer station; storage tanks, reserve tanks, emergency tanks; oil tanks and oil pumping stations. Production support items: car wash station, warehouse; production water supply and drainage system; external water supply and drainage system; power supply system, low voltage power, communication system, monitoring system; observation system, etc.

The project implementation period is expected to be from 2025-2028. Project operation period is 25 years (not including the time to complete procedures for preparing, appraising and approving the feasibility study report, organizing contractor selection and construction of the project)
