More than 20 Japanese enterprises participate in the 2025 Job Fair at Dong A University

Along with the 17th Job Fair, the Japan Job Fair 2025 program is an activity organized by Dong A University right before the graduation ceremony, contributing to expanding the scale of international employment for students of all majors in addition to the vibrant job network at domestic affiliated enterprises.

The job fair was attended by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Hanoi , the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang, representatives of city departments, universities in Japan, Japanese enterprises, Japanese enterprises in the Central region and a large number of candidates who are students studying Japanese at the school.

Speaking at the opening session, Mr. Mori Takero - Consul General of Japan in Da Nang commented: “Dong A University is an outstanding university representing the Central region of Vietnam and has achieved many achievements. Dong A University has a very deep relationship with Japan, not only in the academic field but also through internship and employment programs in Japan. Many students of the school have gone to Japan and are actively working there”.

The festival attracted more than 20 Japanese partners to participate. Of which, 15 Japanese enterprises participated in direct and online recruitment with 523 recruitment positions for students in various fields. In addition, 6 new cooperation agreements in the fields of medicine, training, internship programs and work in Japan for students in the fields of Nursing, Information Technology, Tourism , Japanese Language, Automobile, Electricity - Electronics... were also officially signed on this occasion.

The 6 partners participating in the cooperation signing this time include Nagoya National University; Kake Gakuen Education Group - Okayama University of Technology; Vector Shinwa Company, in association with Sun Wellbening Company - Mikazuki Hotel - Mediva; DGF Company; Chef Meat Vietnam Joint Stock Company.

The new cooperation not only increases the scale of Dong A University's network of affiliated businesses in Japan to more than 150 units in addition to 8 provinces, cities and 15 Japanese universities and research institutes, but also especially increases career and work experience opportunities for students of all majors at the system of Dong A University's partner units in Japan every year.

In particular, the cooperation between Dong A University and the association between Sun Wellbening Company - Mikazuki Hotel Joint Stock Company - Mediva Company was signed as a premise for the establishment and operation of a Japanese standard clinic project (including the field of general health check-up during the day). The project is expected to be built on an area of ​​about 1,000m2, located on the first floor of the new Mikazuki Da Nang building. The total expected investment capital is 500 million yen (equivalent to more than 90 billion VND).

Mr. Kameda Shogo - Medical Director, Taiyokai Social PLXH Association, Kameda Medical Group; representative of Sun Wellbening Company said that at the Japanese standard clinic at Mikazuki Hotel Da Nang, it is expected to deploy a digital imaging and pathology diagnosis support system from Japan through an online platform.

At the same time, with the participation of specialized staff, quality control activities such as testing of patient samples will be carried out here, aiming to build a medical facility that meets international standards. The staff will be mainly Vietnamese, and it is expected that specialized training programs will be organized in Japan for them.

“We also hope to continue to cooperate closely with Dong A University, turning this center into an internship facility for students, and at the same time a place where human resources from Japan can promote their capacity and make positive contributions to health and welfare in Da Nang.”

As a strategic partner of Dong A University since 2018 with more than 60 Nursing students who have been working at the hospital system under Kameda Group, Mr. Kameda Shogo also said that Dong A University Nursing students participating in the Dong A University - Kameda joint program are currently working officially after graduation at medical facilities as caregivers and have received very high evaluations from the receiving facilities.

Signing cooperation agreement on training and recruitment of human resources of Japanese universities and enterprises with Dong A University.

Mr. Luong Minh Sam - Chairman of the Board of Dong A University said that as of May 2025, Dong A University has sent 903 students of various majors to do internships and work in partner enterprises in Japan, Singapore, Germany, Taiwan (China)... In the strategic market of Japan alone, up to now, more than 800 students of various majors of Dong A University have been and are human resources directly participating in the fields of production, tourism, services, health care...

“Many students returning from internships and work in Japan are now key personnel at Vietnamese enterprises and Japanese enterprises investing in Vietnam. This is the most specific and meaningful contribution to the training and employment cooperation strategy with Japan that Dong A University has persistently promoted for many years,” Mr. Luong Minh Sam shared.

Regarding the demand for high-quality human resources in Japan, Mr. Kobayashi Keisuke - Deputy Chief Representative of JETRO in Hanoi said that by 2024, the number of foreign workers in Japan will reach 2.3 million. Since 2020, Vietnam has risen to the leading position with the number of workers accounting for about 1/4 of the total number of foreign workers in Japan, and has maintained steady growth.

Of the total 570,000 Vietnamese workers in Japan, about 105,000 have residency status in the highly specialized and technical fields (excluding specific skills), accounting for 18.5%. This ratio has increased significantly compared to 7.2% in 2016, showing a steady increase in high-quality human resources.

On this occasion, Japanese partners also spent more than 340 million VND to award scholarships to students of Dong A University. Accordingly, 36 scholarships were awarded to students participating in the 1-year internship program and officially working at partners such as Aijinkai Social Medical Group, Asai, Care Partner, Sun Frontier... in 2025 and 2026. It is known that the Japanese Enterprise Scholarship Fund for students of Dong A University has been maintained for many years, with the total value of scholarships awarded reaching billions of VND each year.

Within the framework of the 2025 Japan Job Fair of Dong A University, a large number of candidates, students of various majors, participated in exciting recruitment interviews with businesses, thereby conquering employers to seize internship and work opportunities in the land of the rising sun.

It is known that on May 23, Dong A University will hold a graduation ceremony for Bachelor of Nursing and award long-term employment decisions at Aijinkai Social Medical Group, Japan to 31 students of the 3rd course who have just completed a 1-year internship program in Japan.

This is considered a special graduation ceremony when the students have just completed the internship program and received a decision to work long-term at Aijinkai Group right before receiving their bachelor's degree in nursing from Dong A University, to be ready to return to Japan to officially work from May 28.

Previously, on April 11, Dong A University also organized the 17th Annual Job Fair in 2025 with 76 businesses participating in recruitment interviews for 7,087 job positions for students, attracting more than 5,000 registrations and interviews.
