More than 300 people enjoyed the concert of the New York Classical Music Society

NDO - On the afternoon of April 15, at Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theater (Da Nang city), the City Union of Friendship Organizations coordinated with Duy Tan University to organize a concert program of the New York Classical Music Association.

Attending the program were representatives of leaders of city departments, branches, and sectors, leaders of friendship organizations, diplomatic agencies, and international guests, along with more than 300 delegates, guests, and audiences who are artists, youth union members, students, and people who love classical music in Da Nang city.

The New York Classical Music Society (NYCMS) is the leading organization in the field of classical music , bringing together conductors, pianists, string and wind musicians, composers, and opera singers.

At the program, 15 talented artists of NYCMS performed 13 special concerts, bringing deep and wonderful emotions to the audience. The concert performed, introducing Western classical music to the people of Da Nang city, contributing to promoting the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Korea in Da Nang city in particular, enhancing mutual understanding and friendship with international friends in general.

Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Da Nang City Nguyen Ngoc Binh said that Da Nang City has established friendly and cooperative relations with 50 localities in 24 countries and territories; including 5 localities of Korea: Changwon, Daegu, Hwaseong, Jeju and Pyeongtaek, 3 localities of the United States: Oakland, Pittsburgh and Houston, and 1 locality of France: Nord - Pas de Calais Region.

Emphasizing the role of cultural diplomacy, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh said that international music programs held in Da Nang city up to now have become a connecting bridge, contributing to enhancing mutual understanding between Da Nang city in particular and Vietnam in general with countries around the world.

Korean Consul General in Da Nang Kang Boo Sung shared that recently Vietnamese artists have received much love from Korean people.

Mr. Kang Boo Sung shared that the song “See Tinh” by singer Hoang Thuy Linh has become extremely popular among young Koreans. Recently, the song “Khong Sao Ca” from the Rap Viet program has also received great attention in Korea, when the song has added Korean lyrics based on the experience of living in Korea.

"In the future, the Korean Consulate General in Da Nang will also continue to make efforts to develop cultural exchanges between the two countries, in order to further understand the cultures of the two countries," said Korean Consul General in Da Nang Kang Boo Sung.

In addition to today's concert, the Vietnam - Korea Week will have many other important events taking place at Duy Tan University such as: The opening ceremony of the Samsung Innovation Campus 2025 program organized by Samsung Group; The signing ceremony of a research cooperation agreement between Duy Tan University and Chungbuk National University of Korea.
