In anticipation of the 71st anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2026), on February 1st, the Vietnam Young Doctors Association, in coordination with the Hanoi City Party Committee, the Central Party Committee's Inspection Commission of the Ministry of Public Security, and the Youth Union of the Ministry of Health, organized a program to provide free medical examinations, health consultations, medicine distribution, and gifts to the people of Thien Loc commune, Hanoi city.
The program was held at Kim Chung Primary School in Thien Loc commune, with a total budget of 496 million VND contributed by various organizations. This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating social responsibility, gratitude towards those who have contributed to the nation, and concern for community health.
The program mobilized more than 70 doctors and medical staff from E Hospital, the Central Dental and Maxillofacial Hospital, and over 50 volunteers. Here, the medical staff organized medical examinations, health consultations, distributed free medicine, and gave gifts to more than 600 people, including those who rendered meritorious services to the revolution, families of policy beneficiaries, and students in Thien Loc commune.
The Organizing Committee presented 90 Tet gifts to families receiving preferential treatment, meritorious individuals, and students with good academic achievements at Kim Chung Primary School. In addition, the delegation visited and presented gifts to three Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the commune, expressing deep gratitude for their contributions and sacrifices to the revolutionary cause.
As part of the program, the Organizing Committee also presented an outdoor sports facility to serve the people of Dai Dong village, contributing to improving their spiritual lives, encouraging physical training and sports activities, and promoting community health in the locality.
