More than 600 athletes participated in the Cross Country race organized by the Provincial Economic Zone Trade Union

Athletes and guests won prizes at the competition.

Attending the event were Mr. Tran Le Duy - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, leaders of the Economic Zone Trade Union and more than 600 athletes who are union members of industrial parks and foreign experts.

Participating in this Cross Country race, female athletes ran 3km and male athletes ran 5km. As a result, athlete Nguyen Van Phuong (Coltex Vietnam Co., Ltd. Trade Union) won the first prize for men; athlete Tran Thi Thu Hang (Pou Hung Vietnam Co., Ltd. Trade Union) won the first prize for women.

In addition, the Organizing Committee gave 2 first place prizes to 2 guests who were foreign experts. For all participating athletes, the Organizing Committee gave a small gift and medal to create joy and encourage everyone's love of sports .

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien - Chairwoman of the Provincial Economic Zone Trade Union presented gifts and medals to the athletes.

This is the 6th time the Economic Zone Trade Union has organized the Cross Country race. The total cost of the organization is nearly 160 million VND, of which, gifts worth more than 30 million VND are sponsored by Ino Vina Production & Trading Co., Ltd.

The tournament is an opportunity for cadres, civil servants and workers to exchange and learn from each other’s experiences. This is also a useful playground for everyone after a hard working period, thereby promoting the movement “All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho”, improving the health of cadres, union members and workers with the slogan “Healthy to study, build and protect the Fatherland”.
