More than 870 students participated in the capacity assessment for Le Quy Don Secondary School and Ly Tu Trong Secondary School.

On the morning of May 27, 876 students participated in round 2 - the capacity assessment round for admission to grade 6, Le Quy Don Secondary School and Ly Tu Trong Secondary School (Lao Cai city), school year 2025 - 2026.

From early morning, students and parents were present at the exam sites of Le Quy Don and Ly Tu Trong Secondary Schools waiting for the exam time.

Of which, Le Quy Don Secondary School has 486 students, Ly Tu Trong Secondary School has 390 students. These are students who passed round 1, with a profile score of 8.5 or higher (for students applying to Le Quy Don Secondary School) and 8 points or higher (for students applying to Ly Tu Trong Secondary School).

On the morning of May 27, students participated in the competency assessment in 3 subjects: Math, Vietnamese and English, with a test duration of 60 minutes per subject.

Candidates are ready to take the aptitude test to enroll in the list of key schools in Lao Cai city.

According to the plan, the enrollment target for the 2025-2026 school year for each school is 200 students, divided into 5 classes. The announcement of the results of the second round will be made before 5:00 p.m. on May 30. The list of successful candidates will be announced on June 3, 2025 after the re-evaluation is completed (if any).

Admission score is calculated according to the formula: Admission score = Math knowledge score + Vietnamese knowledge score + English knowledge score + priority score; considered from high to low until the quota is full.

Le Quy Don Secondary School and Ly Tu Trong Secondary School are two key secondary schools in Lao Cai city.
