According to the statistical results at the time of announcement, for the Project of rearranging Gia Lai and Binh Dinh provinces, 430,047/435,295 households participated in giving opinions, a rate of 98.79%. Of which, 98.38% of voters agreed with the Project of rearranging the provinces, 1.62% of voters disagreed.

Regarding the Project on rearranging commune-level administrative units in the province, 429,462/434,710 households gave their opinions, a rate of 98.79%. Accordingly, 98.54% of voters agreed with the Project on rearranging commune-level administrative units and 1.46% of voters disagreed.

According to the Department of Home Affairs, from April 21 to 24, the People's Councils of 154 communes, wards and towns (except Nhon Chau commune, Quy Nhon city because the current status is maintained) will meet to consider and approve the results of collecting voters' opinions on the Project to rearrange Gia Lai and Binh Dinh provinces, the Project to rearrange commune-level administrative units in the province. After that, the People's Councils of 11 districts, towns and cities will hold meetings to consider and approve the policy to rearrange administrative units at all levels. It is expected that on April 28, the Provincial People's Council will hold a meeting to approve the policy to rearrange Gia Lai and Binh Dinh provinces, and the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units in the province.

At the information session, Director of the Department of Home Affairs Le Minh Tuan also discussed and answered some questions from representatives of press agencies. In response to the question about some voters reflecting that they had not been directly consulted at their households, the Director of the Department of Home Affairs recorded the voters' specific address information, said that he would quickly discuss with the localities, requesting a re-check to promptly have a satisfactory answer. Regarding some questions related to the issue of naming commune-level administrative units, he specifically shared some principles of organizing and rearranging administrative units. The method of naming communes and wards according to the name of district-level administrative units (before rearrangement) is being applied in most localities according to the Project to facilitate the digitization and updating of information data...
