VOV.VN - On the evening of May 3rd, at Red Square in Moscow, the Vietnam People's Army delegation participated in a rehearsal for the parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War (May 9th).

At the rehearsal, the soldiers of the delegation were present along with 19 other military delegations invited by Russia to participate in the parade on May 9th. In order, the Vietnamese delegation marched in eighth place among the international forces. Following behind were the delegations from China, Laos, and Myanmar.

During the rehearsal, the demonstration of equipment and weaponry by the host country, the Russian Federation, attracted attention and made a strong impression on the participating delegations and those present at the scene.

Notably, at the rehearsal, a large number of Vietnamese people living, studying, and working in the Russian Federation gathered in Red Square to see the Vietnamese soldiers in person. Many wore shirts with the red flag and yellow star emblem and proudly displayed the national flag, shouting "Vietnam!"

This is the rehearsal of the Vietnamese delegation in preparation for the military parade on May 9th in Red Square (Moscow).

The Vietnamese delegation marched in eighth place among the international contingents. Following behind were the delegations from China, Laos, and Myanmar.

The soldiers smiled for the camera.

Many Vietnamese people in Russia took photos with Major General Nguyen Van Thanh - Deputy Head of the Army Officer School 1.

The young people enjoyed having their photos taken with the officers and soldiers in the delegation.

The display of equipment and weaponry by the host country, the Russian Federation, made a strong impression on those present at the rehearsal.
